Pool in Le Mans, France
One of the great things about the work we carry out is that when the summer comes we get the chance to work in different countries and cultures. This particular example is in Le Mans in France, and to begin with all contact was carried out chiefly by e-mail. This is a galvanized pool, and we have perfected a way of lining these panel pools with great success.
When we arrived on site the deep end had already been extended up to give a level pool as the client realised family staying at his gite were only crowing around the shallow end of the pool. The steps were also created before hand.
On initial survey we found the pool had settled 15mm, and as this would affect the eyeline view when swimming we utilised slates from site, and then dressed fibreglass up and over which was then cemented over for new paving work. We were asked to carry out this work as the drop in liners were only lasting approximately two years with heavy use.
